What are some perennials that do well in shade?

Answer:

There are many perennials that do well in shade. Some of the most common are Hostas, Bleeding Hearts, Astilbe, Ferns, Viola, Brunnera, Heuchera (Coral Bells), and there are many more. There are also ground cover perennials that do well in shade. These are things like Creeping Jenny, Vinca major and Minor, Bishop's Weed, Sweet Woodruff.
