Question:

I have seen quite a few poplars die, I was wondering what causes this and how to prevent it, is Lambardy poplar also suseptable to dying.

Answer:

It is common for Poplars to die or have sections that die. It is a bacteria that they get. There is really nothing that you can do, but you can get a variety that is resistant. The variety 'Theves' is less suspetible to this problem. The Lombardy is still suseptible.
