Question:

I am looking for a shade tree that will not grow too big and will not grow over into the neighbors backyard, something that full grown will only be 15' wide, any suggestions?

Answer:

We have some trees that will stay small, grow less than 15 feet tall. These would be things like the Water Birch, Snow Fountains Cherry (Weeping form), Lollipop Crabapple, Louisa Crabapple (Weeping Form), Royalty Crabapple, Tina Crabapple, PeeGee Hydrangea, Tree Lilacs, some types of plums, Rose of Sharon trees and more. To see what these do, go to our plant list and select "shade trees". It will have a brief description of the trees.

You also have the option of getting a tree that grows taller (20-30 feet), but that will stay narrow.
