Question:

What is the amount of water needed for anthony waterer and bridal wreath spireas. My plants do not look very good. The leaves are yellow, and the bridal wreaths do not have very many leaves. Is this iron chlorosis, and if so what should I do to fix it?

Answer:

Most of your shrubs need a good deep water. If you have a sprinkler some times it will not supply enough water at one time. A water problem is the most common reason leaves go yellow or the plants have few leaves in our area.
The sign of iron chlorosis is that the main veins down the leaves will be a dark green while the edges of the leave will be yellow. If this is the problem that you are having, there are products on the market that can help your plant get the iron needed.
