Recently my parents purchased a 20 ft red maple from your nursery. Are we supposed to remove the plastic white tube that is protecting the bottom 3 ft of the trunk?
Answer:

The plastic tube is for protection while it is being moved. It is best to remove the tube after you have planted the tree.
